SEYMOUR, Ind. – Legal Aid is hosting a free walk-in legal clinic for Jackson County residents on Wednesday, June 7, at the law offices of Montgomery, Elsner, and Pardieck, 308 W. Second St, in Seymour, from 3 to 5 p.m. The free clinic is for low-income citizens.
Individuals in Legal Aid District 11 who come to the Jackson County walk-in clinic this Wednesday will receive a 10-minute consultation where an attorney will answer general questions, offer legal information, and give other limited assistance or advice.
From 3 to 4 p.m., the June 7 walk-in clinic focuses on general advice like wills, divorce, custody, etc. And, attendees can get legal advice on evictions and landlord negotiations from 4 to 5 p.m.
