COLUMBUS, Ind. — A water outage occurred late Wednesday morning in Waynesville, per the Eastern Bartholomew Water Company.
A company spokesperson said the outage was caused by another utility company hitting their main.
Water was restored by early afternoon but Waynesville is under a Boil-Water Advisory until 2 p.m. on Friday.
Any water that is to be consumed or used for cooking purposes should be boiled for at least three to five minutes and cooled before consuming, the Taylorsville-based utility said.
