COLUMBUS, Ind. — City of Columbus Animal Care Services will be bringing more than 65 adoptable cats and kittens looking for loving homes to Nexus Park for a one-day adoption event. Kitty Palooza will be held on Saturday, August 19, from noon to 4 p.m., in the former Fair Oaks Mall Petals and Vines location.
All cats will have a reduced adoption fee of $40, which includes spaying or neutering, up-to-date shots, and microchipping prior to adoption.
If a landlord is not able to be contacted, renters who are interested in adopting a kitty are encouraged to bring renter’s agreements or contracts to indicate they are allowed to have pets.
Potential adopters are asked to please bring a cat carrier as cardboard cat carriers that will be available at the event may be limited.
