WHITELAND, Ind. – The Town of Whiteland has issued a Boil Water Advisory after a water main break at Whiteland Community High School on Friday.
The advisory is most likely in effect through Saturday for homes and businesses in a few specific neighborhoods. Whiteland officials say they will update the situation on Saturday.
Those in the affected areas should use bottled water or boiled water for drinking and to prepare and cook food. If bottled water is not available, you should bring water to a full rolling boil for one minute. After boiling, allow the water to cool before use.
Here are the areas that are under the Boil Water Advisory:
- Saddlebrook Farms
- Spring Hill
- Spring Hill South
- Oakville
- Old Town Whiteland (east of U.S. 31)
