INDIANAPOLIS – Forty-six judicial officers from across the state will meet with nearly 3,500 students and civic group members to celebrate Constitution Day later this month.
Indiana courts are commemorating the signing of the U.S. Constitution on September 17, 1787, with a program that brings judges into schools and out into their communities.
Hoosier judges will be visiting schools sometime in the week before or the week after Constitution Day.
Locally, in Jennings County, Judge Ellie Bright will talk with children at Brush Creek Elementary, Scipio Elementary, and St. Mary’s Schools.
