COLUMBUS, Ind. – A huge crowd was on hand and there was a big celebration earlier this week at the Fraternal Order of Eagles #741, at 9th and Washington Streets in downtown Columbus.
A winning raffle ticket was drawn with a prize of almost $120,000 on Tuesday night.
The excitement had been building because the raffle had been going on for almost a year without anyone taking home any money.
Then, after 50 weeks, all of that changed. Eagles member Matt Stillabower had the lucky #32 ticket that netted him a total of $119,450.
There will be another drawing coming up sometime in the next couple of weeks, according to the local Eagles #741 Columbus, Indiana Facebook page.
