COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus Police Department (CPD) apprehended a wanted Edinburgh man after he tried to flee from officers on Sunday, just before 3 p.m.
Trent A. Teltoe, 56, was noticed by CPD outside of a residence in the 3800 block of Candlelight Drive.
The officers confirmed an active Johnson County warrant for Teltoe’s arrest. When they tried to speak with him, police said he fled on foot. With the assistance of a CPD K-9, Teltoe was found hiding under a nearby mobile home.
The suspect was then arrested without further incident, taken to Bartholomew County Jail, and remanded on preliminary charges of the Johnson County Warrant and Resisting Law Enforcement.
