WHITELAND, Ind. – Town officials remind you that this Saturday, October 21, is Community Clean Up Day for Whiteland and New Whiteland residents. This free event, at the Clark Pleasant Bus Garage, 999 N. Front St., is from 8 a.m. to noon and enables those who live in these communities to dispose of their unwanted items.
Examples of items that can be brought to the bus garage are yard waste, household waste, demolition debris, and electronics. However, there is a charge for the disposal of electronics: TVS are $25 and freon appliances are $20.
Items that are not accepted include tires, liquids, hazardous waste, paint, oil, antifreeze, and infectious waste.
Community Clean Up Day for citizens of Whiteland and New Whiteland will take place rain or shine.
