COLUMBUS, Ind. – Cummins Inc. has been named to the 100 Best Corporate Citizens list recognizing outstanding environmental, social, and governance (ESG) transparency and performance among the 1,000 largest U.S. public companies.
The ranking is based on 180 factors around the environment and climate change, employee relations, governance, human rights, stakeholders and society, and overall ESG Performance.

Using a methodology developed by 3BL, all Russell 1000 Index companies are researched by ISS ESG, the responsible investment research arm of Institutional Shareholder Services. There is no fee for companies to be included in 100 Best Corporate Citizens.
Cummins finished No. 88 in the ranking, receiving its highest individual scores on the environment, climate change, and human rights. This is the company’s third year on the top 100 list. The global power technology leader has been recognized on several similar rankings over the past year including the 2022 SandP Dow Jones World and North American Sustainability Indices, a top 100 finish in JUST Capital’s 2023 rankings of America’s Most Just Companies, and a No. 4 ranking in Forbes magazine’s list of the Best Employers for Women 2023.
