COLUMBUS, Ind. — Columbus Regional Health (CRH) Breast Health Services is holding a free clinical breast screening event, for those whose insurance does not cover breast screenings, this Saturday, October, 28.
If the exam shows possible breast cancer, referrals will be provided to those who need a follow-up mammogram.
Statistics show that this year about one million Americans will develop breast cancer. If detected early, 95% of patients can be successfully treated.
Screenings will be conducted between 8 a.m. and noon on Saturday, at the CRH Breast Health Center, 2326 18th St., Suite 230. Registration is required by calling 812-376-5136.
