JOHNSON COUNTY — The Johnson County Public Library (JCPL) is holding contest for kids in commemoration of their new bookmobile.
JCPL on Wheels, is officially launching on November 4 at Kephart Park in Bargersville. JCPL is holding a coloring contest for kids 12 and under to celebrate.
To enter, create a drawing, illustration, or design containing Bibli or JCPL on Wheels, or both.
The winning design will be printed on two-inch buttons, so keep your design simple. It will be distributed at the launch party.
If your design is chosen:
- You will cut the ribbon at the JCPL on Wheels launch party.
- Your design will be printed on buttons to promote JCPL on Wheels.
- You will receive a T-shirt with your design imprinted.
- You will receive a signed copy of “Saturday” by Oge Mora.
Official Rules:
- Entrants must be age 12 or under and must reside in the JCPL service area.
- Designs may be submitted on paper or digitally.
- Drop off your paper entries at any JCPL Branch.
- Submit digital designs (created in design software) here.
- Photos of a hand-drawn design are not acceptable as digital entries.
- Entries will be judged on design, originality and other criteria.
- Entries must include Bibli or the JCPL on Wheels van.
- Entry deadline is October 29, 2023 at 5 p.m.
