FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Franklin Parks and Recreation Department is presenting HalloweenTown, with events going on all day Saturday, in Downtown Franklin.
The day kicks off with the Halloween Hustle 5K Run/Walk and One-mile Family Fun Walk at 10 a.m. at the DriveHubler.com Amphitheatre at Youngs Creek Park.
The Historic Artcraft Theatre will be showing the movie “Shop of Horrors” at 2 p.m. and again at 7:30 p.m.
The Howl-o-ween pet costume contest registration is at 3 p.m. with the competition starting at 4, and there are plenty of other kids’ activities from 5 to 7:30 p.m.
Trick the Town is from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. where kids can go trick-or-treating at downtown businesses, and Trick Your Trunk also takes place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Youngs Creek Park, where children can collect treats from decorated trunks and trucks.
