SEYMOUR, Ind. – The Seymour Redevelopment Commission is accepting Quality of Life (QoL) Grant application submissions through January 10, 2024.
The QoL grants provide partial funding for projects within Seymour’s designated TIF districts that improve the quality of life for Seymour residents through downtown beautification, education, or industrial projects.
The grant application process is open to nonprofit organizations whose projects fall within certain parameters. Projects must benefit public health, safety, morals, and welfare; increase the economic well-being of the unit and state; serve to protect and increase property values; and, have public uses and purposes for which public money may be spent.
New projects and/or infrastructure materials may be given priority. Materials purchased or costs incurred before the awarding of a grant will not be considered for retroactive funding.
