COLUMBUS, Ind. – The City of Columbus Department of Public Works has announced that the after-Christmas Christmas Tree Collection of trees begins on Tuesday, December 26, and runs through Friday, January 26.
City sanitation crews will pick up residential Christmas trees the same day as your trash collection.
They must be curbside and cannot be placed in alleys. Call-ins will not be accepted for Christmas trees and collections will not be made on private streets.
Trees should not be placed in bags and any ornaments, lights, hooks, stands, or nails need to be removed before putting them at the curb.
