COLUMBUS, Ind. – Legal Aid is set to host a Legal Aid Phone Clinic on Tuesday, January 30, for low-income residents in its eight-county district, encompassing Bartholomew, Johnson, Jackson, Jennings, Decatur, Brown, Rush, and Shelby Counties.
The free phone clinic, scheduled from 3 to 5:30 p.m., requires prior registration between noon and 2 p.m. the same day by calling Legal Aid at 812-378-0358.
Individuals contacting the Legal Aid Phone Clinic can anticipate a 10-minute consultation to address general queries.
Registered individuals can expect a return call from a volunteer attorney between 3 and 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Individuals need to be available during this timeframe to answer the attorney’s call.
