COLUMBUS, Ind. – Caroline Sims, Ph.D., has joined Thrive Alliance as the agency’s Compliance Director.
In her role, Sims will provide expertise and leadership related to compliance and quality. She is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining appropriate programs, policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with HIPAA, accreditation standards, and all State and Federal contract requirements.
With over 30 years of experience in the field, she serves Thrive Alliance as its Compliance Director after being with Our Hospice of South Central Indiana since 2017.
Previous experience includes 30 years with Columbus Regional Health, with her last four years as Director of Nursing Practice. She has served as an Adjunct Faculty member at Indiana University School of Nursing and Ferris State University.
Sims earned her Ph.D. in Nursing from Indiana University. She holds a Master’s degree in Nursing Administration from I.U. and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Indianapolis.
