FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Johnson County Community Foundation (JCCF) Grants Committee announced late last week that it had recently awarded a total of $80,800 to ten organizations allowing the Foundation to address several crucial needs in the county.
The 2024 Cycle 1 Youth Serving Programming grant awards reflect JCCF’s goal to enhance the quality of life for Franklin, Greenwood, and all citizens of Johnson County.
JCCF 2024 Cycle 2 Mental Health Programming grant applications are now open and are due on April 1.
Here are the organizations, program names, and amounts awarded for 2024 Cycle 1:
- Adult and Child Mental Health Center Inc., a Johnson County Safe Place Program: $15,000
- Angelcare, Inc., an Angelcare Educational Program: $10,000
- Dotted Line Divas DBA Indy Hygiene Hub, a HerCare Initiative Supporting Girls’ Wellness: $5,000
- Greenwood Gators, Inc. Swim Lessons Program Update and Expansion: $4,000
- Greenwood Parks Foundation Swimming Lessons Save Lives: $2,100
- Jameson Inc. Jameson Overnight Summer Camp: $5,000
- Resources of Hope Inc. Clothing Closet Inventory: $15,000
- Saints Francis and Clare of Assisi School Early Childhood Ministry Playground Initiative: $10,000
- The Refuge The Drop Expansion: $5,500
- United Way of Johnson County Fast Track, a program of United Way of Johnson County: $9,200
