NORTH VERNON, Ind. – Jennings County Sheriff Kenny Freeman announced Monday that Cody Low has been promoted to the rank of Chief Deputy.
The Chief Deputy is second in command at the Jennings County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO), behind only the sheriff.
Chief Deputy Low is an 11-year veteran of the JCSO. Over the last decade, he has served as a patrolman, K-9 handler, and as a Sergeant.
Sheriff Freeman stated, “Cody will do a wonderful job in leading the Sheriff’s Office to continued success and I look forward to the future with him in this vital role.
