FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Johnson County Community Foundation (JCCF) this week presented a $15,000 Youth Serving Programming Grant to the Adult and Child Mental Health Center for the Johnson County Safe Place program.
Adult and Child Health took over Safe Place programming from Indiana Youth Services in August 2023.
Safe Place is meant to provide young people with an early avenue to self-initiate help, safety, and support before problems escalate beyond their control.
As a prevention program, Safe Place allows youth to seek services for themselves and their families that can prevent disengagement from the home and/or involvement with the juvenile justice or child welfare systems.
Services through this program are accessible 24/7, 365 days a week through a crisis phone line.
JCCF invites you to learn more about Adult and Child Health and the Safe Place program, here.
