COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Lincoln-Central Neighborhood Watch is the new name for the former 9th Street Area Neighborhood Watch. The watch group is a Lincoln-Central Neighborhood Family Center (LCNFC) program.
A media release read, “The new name better encompasses the organization’s work focusing on Columbus’ downtown neighborhood.”
Facilitator Lisa Pein said this enables the group to strengthen its relationship with the broader neighborhood and further distinguish itself from other groups.
The Lincoln-Central Neighborhood Watch is a partner of the Columbus Police Department and meets the second Tuesday of each month, at 6:30 p.m., at the Second Baptist Church, 1328 9th St.
