VERSAILLES, Ind. – Rescue efforts continued Saturday for the Osgood teen who went missing Friday afternoon at Versailles Lake in Versailles State Park. His unlocked car with the keys inside was found Friday near the boat ramp and the search began but was postponed on Friday night.
Several agencies from Indiana and Ohio, including Indiana Conservation Officers, looked all day Saturday for Carson Hughes, 18, of Osgood. However, the search was again suspended on Saturday night due to darkness. Search efforts for the young man resumed Sunday morning.
Officials said, “There is no new information to report and the public is urged to remain clear of the search area at Versailles Lake.” Authorities say anyone with information on Carson Hughes’ whereabouts should call the ICO Dispatch Center at 812-340-8323.
