GREENWOOD, Ind. – The Greater Greenwood Arts Council (GGAC) supports the future of all arts by awarding a one-time scholarship to help up to three promising students with rising tuition costs. The scholarship application period remains open until April 15.
The Greater Greenwood Arts Council Scholarship will be awarded to a high school senior who is pursuing a degree in fine arts, arts education, or an art-related field from a college, university, or school of design, and will graduate from a Johnson County Indiana high school before July 1 of the year in which the scholarship will be awarded.
GGAC will grant three scholarships ($500 each) to be paid directly to the college/university attended by the winner.
The scholarships will be presented to students in the following areas, one scholarship per area:
– 2D/3D art or a related field
– Performing arts field (dance, music, theatre, and performance)
– Literary arts or related field
The scholarship submission consists of a completed application form, portfolio, artist’s statement, letter of recommendation, and transcript. CLICK HERE for the application.
