GREENWOOD, Ind. – Greenwood authorities and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) continue to search for a missing 16-year-old Greenwood girl. They ask for the public’s assistance in finding the teen who disappeared on March 14.
Destiny Weathers left her home that Thursday afternoon and was headed to a nearby park. She never returned.
Her father, Doug Weathers, reportedly told NCMEC this was “very unusual behavior” and that “she had never gone missing in the past.”
The Johnson County teen is 5 foot 2 inches tall, weighs 110 pounds, with blonde hair and hazel eyes. Officials believe she is in the Greenwood or Indianapolis area. The NCMEC Facebook page has more.
If you have any information about Destiny Weathers you are asked to call the Greenwood Police Department, at 317-346-6336, or NCMEC, at 1-800-THE-LOST (1-800-843-5678).
