FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Johnson County Community Foundation (JCCF) Grants Committee recently awarded a total of $68,989 to be distributed among eight different organizations.
The monies allow the non-profit agencies to address several crucial needs in the county.
The mission of JCCF is to enhance the quality of life for all citizens of Johnson County, now and for generations to come, by building community endowment, addressing needs through grantmaking, including scholarships; and providing leadership on key community issues.
The JCCF Cycle 2 Mental Health Programming Grant Recipients are listed below with the amounts each was rewarded:
- Beloved Warriors (Return to Joy: $2,454.60)
- Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana Collaborative Cohort Series: $2,500)
- Centerstone of Indiana (Therapy Supplies: $7,200)
- Dance Every Journey (Dance Every Journey Teacher Kits: $2,795)
- Girls Inc. of Johnson County (Mind & Body: $8,040)
- Johnson Memorial Hospital Foundation (Virtual Collaboration/Care: $10,000)
- Reach for Youth Inc. (Mental Health Counseling for Johnson County youth: $30,000)
- Upstream Prevention (Walk Suicide Out of Our County: $6,000)
