HOPE, Ind. – With school out for the next two months, the Hope Police Department (HPD) has instituted a fun project for the kids in town.
While on patrol, Hope Police officers will be keeping an eye out for children performing acts of kindness, making good choices, or making safe decisions like riding a bike with a helmet.
In return, the kids will be given a “ticket” to come to the Hope Police station and redeem it for toys or sports equipment.
HPD said it would like to thank Keith Prior and the Bartholomew County Court Services for providing the sports equipment and toys for us to give away.
