COLUMBUS, Ind. – Recovery Cafe Columbus, on Sycamore Drive, is hosting a butterfly release event to raise funds for the group committed to helping those in the community on their road to recovery from drugs and alcohol. The event is at Columbus Municipal Airport on Saturday, June 15, from 3 to 6 p.m.
The Wings of Change butterfly release aims to support the mission of Recovery Cafe Columbus, which is dedicated to creating a safe, healing, and loving community where every individual is empowered to thrive. Recovery Cafe Columbus believes everyone is recovering from something, be it grief, loneliness, isolation, substance misuse, homelessness, or trauma.
Community members can sponsor a live butterfly in honor of a loved one. Each donation of $20 sponsors a butterfly and contributes directly to the ongoing efforts of Recovery Cafe Columbus to provide a supportive environment for those in need.
Speakers at the event will share stories of inspiration and transformation and present a ceremony that celebrates life, recovery, and new beginnings.
Those who wish to sponsor a butterfly should visit the Columbus Recovery Cafe website.
