FRANKLIN, Ind. – UPDATE (Friday 9:30 p.m.): The story of the missing Franklin girl has a happy ending. About three hours after she was reported missing, the three-year-old was found. She was checked out and medically cleared by EMS.
Johnson County Sheriff Duane Burgess expressed gratitude and said, “I appreciate all the first responders who worked on this incident.”
Original: The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) was dispatched to the 2600 block of County Road 725E, in Franklin, on Friday evening, after a report of a missing three-year-old female. The call came in at 6:15 p.m.
Personnel from several emergency agencies are at the scene searching for the child. Sheriff Duane Burgess is asking anyone in the community who thinks they have seen the child to call 911.
