COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus Police Department (CPD) teamed up with the local Kroger store on Saturday for its “Pack a Cruiser” initiative in the battle against hunger in Columbus.
“Pack a Cruiser” turned into “Pack a Few Cruisers” as CPD collected over 3,000 pounds of non-perishable food from the community and $630 for Love Chapel.
All donations from the “Pack a Cruiser” event support the Bartholomew County community in combating hunger.
Law enforcement thanked Kroger, the Love Chapel volunteers, and everyone who donated.
