COLUMBUS, Ind. – YES Cinema has announced that due to overwhelming interest, a second showing of Ice Cream Man has been added on Saturday, September 21, at 1:30 p.m. The first show at 1 p.m. sold out quickly so another screening was ordered.
The movie was partly filmed in Columbus at Zararakos Ice Cream Parlor and Museum.
Ice Cream Man is about a popular Jewish ice cream parlor owner, Ernst Cahn, who finds himself targeted by the infamous “Butcher of Lyon”, Klaus Barbie shortly after the Nazi invasion of the Netherlands. As his world crumbles, “The Ice Cream Man” faces a terrible choice that will reverberate throughout the country. It stars Noah Emmerich (“The Americans”) and was written and directed by Robert Moniot.
