SEYMOUR, Ind. – Schneck Medical Center recently announced a leadership change on its Board of Trustees, effective January 27. Rick L. Smith transitions to the role of Past-Chairman, while Jack L. McCory assumes the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors.
This change reflects Schneck’s unwavering dedication to fostering strong leadership that drives innovation and excellence in healthcare.
Rick L. Smith has dedicated over 20 years to advancing Schneck’s mission, serving in key leadership roles, including Vice-Chairman and Chairman. During his tenure, the hospital accomplished several significant milestones that strengthened its reputation as a regional healthcare leader. As Past-Chairman, he will continue to provide guidance to support Schneck’s ongoing success.
Jack L. McCory brings a wealth of experience and strategic insight to his new role as Chairman. Since joining the Schneck Board in 2009, he has held positions including Trustee, Vice-President, and Vice-Chairman. Jack’s forward-thinking approach has been a cornerstone of key initiatives that continue to advance Schneck’s mission of delivering exceptional healthcare.
Together, Smith and McCory oversaw the completion of the Schneck Professional Building, which included an 80,000-square-foot medical office expansion and a five-story parking garage to support growing physician demand.
