FRANKLIN, Ind. – Franklin College welcomes Mike Robbins, author and expert in leadership, team performance, and company culture, to campus on Wednesday, March 5, at 7 p.m., in the Branigin Room of the Napolitan Student Center.
Robbins is the final speaker in the College’s 2024-2025 Convocation Lecture Series and will present “Nothing Changes Until You Do: How Growth Mindset and Self-Compassion Lead to Success and Fulfillment.” His lecture will touch on some of the core themes of his book, Nothing Changes Until You Do.
For 24 years, Robbins has delivered worldwide keynotes and seminars that empower people, leaders, teams, and organizations to be more successful. He is the author of four other books, Focus on the Good Stuff, Be Yourself Everyone Else is Already Taken, Bring Your Whole Self to Work and We’re All in This Together.
He is a regular contributor to Forbes and also hosts a weekly podcast. Before his current work, Robbins was drafted by the New York Yankees but chose to play baseball at Stanford, where he pitched in the College World Series. He played three seasons of professional minor-league baseball before injuries to his pitching arm ended his career.
After the event, Robbins will sign his books. His latest offering, “Nothing Changes Until You Do,” will be on sale.
Franklin College’s tradition includes hosting the annual Convocation Lecture Series promoting the ideals of the institution.
