BARGERSVILLE, Ind. – The Bargersville Fire Department (BFD)responded to a call on Wednesday afternoon to rescue a kitten trapped in the fuel tank of a Mister Quik Home Services van.
The Mister Quik service tech believed the kitten may have gotten trapped in the van following a one-hour trip from Fishers.
After several hours, fire crews enlisted the help of Harter’s Auto Repair, who helped lift the car and drop the fuel tank to get access to the trapped kitten.
The young cat was stressed and dirty, but in otherwise good condition following the incident.
BFD confirmed that the rescued kitten now has a new home and eight lives remaining.
