TAYLORSVILLE, Ind. – The Eastern Bartholomew Water Corporation (EBWC) issued a Boil Water Advisory just after 8:00 on Thursday morning for its customers in the Oakcrest Addition, on County Road 700E and East Street, in Taylorsville.
A fiber company contractor cut the water main in the area. EBWC says the Boil Water advisory will be in effect until noon on Saturday, May 17.
Residents in Oakcrest Addition should boil any water used for drinking or cooking for at least five minutes, then let it cool before consumption. For more details, call the water utility at 812-526-9777.
