COLUMBUS, Ind.–The Mill Race Theatre Company is holding auditions for ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ this Saturday, May 31, at 5 p.m., and Sunday, June 1, at 3 p.m. Auditions will be held at the New Hope Church at 1404 West County 400N in Columbus.
Participants may only attend one audition, either Saturday or Sunday. Callbacks are on Monday, June 2, if needed.
Chorus-only roles are available with no solo required. If you can’t make it in person, virtual auditions must be submitted by Friday, May 30, at 8 p.m.
The ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ Cast list will drop on Tuesday, June 3, rehearsals will start on Thursday, June 5, and performances are scheduled for July 17–20. For more information, visit https://www.millracetheatre.org/charlie-and-the-chocolate-factory.
Here are the audition time slots by age:
- Ages 8–12: Saturday: 5–6 p.m., Sunday: 3 to 4 p.m.
- Ages 13+: Saturday: 6 p.m.+, Sunday: 4 p.m.+
