COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce continues its Women in Leadership program this year, celebrating the exceptional achievements of women in the community.
Nominations are still open for this recognition, saluting the contributions of women leaders who have made a significant impact in their respective fields. The deadline to nominate is June 22, and you can find the form here.
In its 11th year, the Women in Leadership program seeks to empower and uplift women in business, education, government, and community leadership roles.
There are several characteristics to consider when nominating someone. The woman should be:
- Employed by a Columbus Area Chamber member organization
- Outstanding in her profession
- Uplifting and inspiring
- Using her time and skills to improve the lives of others
- Making a positive social impact in the community, beyond her professional responsibilities
The selected honorees will be featured at the Women in Leadership lunch on Friday, August 22.
