COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus Engineering Department has announced that on or after this Monday, June 23, Milestone Contractors, L.P. crews are scheduled to close Lowell Road from County Road 200W to I-65 for the final phase of the Lowell Road Reconstruction Project.
Motorists should identify alternate routes and use them during this time. Local access to Drummond Drive will be maintained, and the Lowell Road/C.R. 200W roundabout will remain open.
The closure is expected to last eight weeks. During this final phase of the project, updates will be posted to the City of Columbus Engineering Facebook page.
Drivers should be cautious when driving near construction zones and navigating detour routes.
