NORTH VERNON, Ind. – The Jennings County Sheriff’s Office responded Friday afternoon to a three-vehicle personal injury accident involving a semi near the intersection of State Road 3 and County Road 800N near the Jennings County fairgrounds.
Two lifeline flights airlifted victims from the crash site. Fire crews and ambulances are on the scene.
All lanes were closed for the crash investigation. Deputies redirected traffic, which was stalled for several hours due to the severity and location of the accident.
UPDATE: Monday, June 23- A mother and her 3 month old child were hospitalized with serious injuries following the accident. The Jennings County Sheriff’s Office has not released any more details about the crash at this time.
