ELIZABETHTOWN, Ind. – The Eastern Bartholomew Water Corporation (EBWC) announced Saturday morning that a water main was damaged just south and southwest of the Elizabethtown area.
Due to this problem, customers may experience temporary low pressure and a possible water outage.
Officials have declared a Boil Water Advisory for EBWC customers in that area until noon on Tuesday, July 1. Any water used for drinking or cooking purposes should be boiled for at least five minutes and cooled before consumption.
