SOUTH-CENTRAL Ind. – Several area cities and towns are celebrating the Independence Day holiday with fireworks displays this weekend.
The big show is tonight, Thursday, July 3, at AirPark Columbus as Columbus Regional Health presents QMIX Musical Fireworks. The annual show draws tens of thousands of viewers.

- Franklin – Firecracker Festival at Franklin Amphitheatre-Thursday at 10 p.m.
- Seymour – Freeman Field- Friday at 10 p.m.
- Columbus – CERA Sports Park-Friday at 10 p.m,
- Edinburgh – Firecracker Festival in downtown Edinburgh-Friday at 10 p.m, events start at 5 p.m.
- North Vernon – North Vernon City Park- Saturday at 10 p.m.
- New Whiteland – VFW Post- July 12, 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
