SEYMOUR, Ind. – The Seymour Police Department (SPD) pulled over an SUV for a driving infraction on Thursday evening, July 10, near US 50 and US 31. During the traffic stop, officers developed probable cause to search the vehicle and its four occupants.
As a result of the search, law enforcement allegedly seized several grams of methamphetamine, fentanyl, syringe(s), marijuana, paraphernalia, and a large amount of US currency.
While speaking with one of the passengers, SPD officers say they witnessed one of the individuals inconspicuously try to toss a baggy of suspected meth to the ground.
The four suspects were taken into custody on the various charges listed below:
- Tressa Wells, 32, of Seymour, was arrested for Dealing in Meth (level 2 felony), Possession of Narcotics (level 6 felony), Possession of Methamphetamine (level 6 felony), Possession of a Syringe (level 6 felony), Obstruction of Justice (level 6 felony), Possession of Marijuana (class A misdemeanor), and Possession of Paraphernalia (class A misdemeanor)
- Clayton Douglas, 31 of Seymour, was booked for Dealing in Meth (level 2 felony), Possession of Narcotics (level 6 felony), Possession of Methamphetamine (level 6 felony), Possession of a Syringe (level 6 felony), Obstruction of Justice (level 6 felony), Possession of Marijuana (class A misdemeanor), and Possession of Paraphernalia (class A misdemeanor)
- Bredon Keys, 26 of Cincinnati, was charged with Possession of Narcotics (level 6 felony), Possession of Meth (level 6 felony), Possession of Marijuana (class A misdemeanor), and Possession of Paraphernalia (class A misdemeanor)
- Derrick Jones, 54 of Cincinnati, was arrested for Possession of Meth (level 6 felony) and Possession of Narcotics (level 6 felony)
All parties described are presumed innocent until, or unless, proven guilty in a court of law.
