COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce (CACC) has announced the lineup of distinguished women who will inspire the audience at the 2025 Women in Leadership Lunch on Friday, August 22, at The Commons in downtown Columbus.
Chamber president Cindy Frey shared her enthusiasm, highlighting the event’s significance, stating, “Year after year, this event allows us to applaud the invaluable contributions that women bring to both our professional arenas and our wider community.”
Each year, CACC honors outstanding female leaders. This year, its members nominated and selected four women who lead with skill, heart, and purpose.
The Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce 2025 Women in Leadership honorees are:
- Whittney Gaines – A special education teacher and owner of Gaines Creative Expressions, she empowers others through educational programs and cultural events, uniting the community
- Dr. Laura Hack – In her over 30-year career, Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation’s Director of Elementary Education has made a difference for tens of thousands of young learners
- Cathy King – United Way’s Community Impact Director has an incredible track record of addressing homelessness and poverty, moving hundreds of people toward stability and hope
- Dr. Mandy Wyant – In 2011, the owner of Family Wellness and Chiropractic blazed a trail as the only female chiropractor in the market, and the business has since grown exponentially
The event is offered by lead sponsors Old National Bank and Agresta, Storms and O’Leary, with additional support from Lohmeyer Plumbing and Centra Credit Union.
