FRANKLIN, Ind. – An 11-year-old juvenile on a bicycle was hospitalized after being hit by a car near US 31 in Franklin on Monday, July 14.
At approximately 5:30 p.m., the City of Franklin Police Department reported that the boy and his sister were traveling on their bikes near the intersection of US 31 South, North Morton Street, and Schoolhouse Road before the 11-year-old was struck by a vehicle and initially appeared unresponsive to emergency crews.
The juvenile was transported to Riley’s Children’s Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and is currently in stable condition following the accident.
