BROWNSTOWN, Ind. – The 2025 Jackson County Fair in Brownstown officially opens today, Monday, July 26, but pre-fair events have taken place over the last few days, including the Fair Queen Pageant.
Miss Jackson County was crowned Sunday night as Presley Hampton was selected as the 2025 Jackson County Fair Queen.
Her court consists of First Runner-Up Kera Wischmeier, Second Runner-Up Audrey Newkirk, and Miss Congeniality Paisleigh Peters.
The midway with “Poor Jack Amusements” is open tonight through Saturday from 6 to 11 p.m. On Wednesday and Saturday afternoons, there are special Kiddie Days from 1 to 5 p.m.
Grandstand events include a Monster Truck show tonight (Monday), a Demolition Derby on Tuesday, and Country music artist Chris Cagle in concert on Friday.
