SOUTH-CENTRAL INDIANA – The National Weather Service (NWS) has extended the Heat Advisory for south-central Indiana area until Wednesday, July 30, until 8 p.m.
Heat index values up to 105 are expected for portions of central, east central, north central, south central, and southeast Indiana.
Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses. NWS advises people to drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
