BARGERSVILLE, Ind. – The Bargersville Fire Department (BFD) has been busy the last few days. Local crews, along with mutual aid partner the Greenwood Fire Department (GFD), fought two separate residential structure fires on Monday morning, July 28.
One blaze was located in the 4200 block of Hickory Ridge Boulevard, and the second in the 3500 block of Danbury Court.
Last Friday afternoon, BFD responded to a residential fire in the 700 block of Booneway Lane. Initial reports from a neighbor indicated a lightning strike had hit the residence, with smoke visible from the roofline. That fire was brought under control within 10–15 minutes of arrival. One feline was safely rescued from the home. No injuries to civilians or firefighters were reported.
