COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus Engineering Department has announced that Lowell Road reopened on Friday afternoon. Drivers can once again use Lowell Road to get from US 31 to the west side of town.
The highway had been closed between County Road 200W and the I-65 overpass since June 23, so that Milestone Contractors, L.P. crews could complete the final phase of the Lowell Road Reconstruction Project.
The City thanks you for your patience and cooperation during this latest phase of maintenance and reminds all motorists to slow down, pay attention, and obey posted speed limits.
