BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, Ind. – Indiana State Police (ISP) and the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office responded to a personal injury accident involving a semi-truck on southbound I-65 at the 78-mile marker on Monday night, August 11.
At approximately 7:40 p.m., a crash involving a semi caused significant traffic backup and restricted I-65 to one lane going south. The truck driver was injured during the crash, but the severity of his injuries is unknown at this time.
The Indiana State Police and the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office worked together to remove the vehicle and debris from the roadway for several hours before reopening it around 10:30 p.m.
