COLUMBUS, Ind. – The City of Columbus has announced that business will not be conducted and all offices, including Columbus City utilities, will close at lunchtime this Friday, August 15, so all employees can attend the City of Columbus employee picnic. Offices will be closed from approximately 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
If residents have a water or sewer service problem that needs immediate attention during this time, they should call 812-372-8861 and follow the prompts.
Members of the Columbus Common Council have also been invited to attend and may receive information, but the Council will not be in session and will not conduct business.
