COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce welcomes Courtney Rushton as its new Director of Entrepreneurship. She brings six years of experience as an educator and Universal Design for Learning Facilitator with the Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation.
Rushton is no stranger to the city’s entrepreneurial community, having led the Chamber’s Maverick Challenge student business pitch competition for four years.
She will now lead programs at Catalyst Columbus and the Targeted Investment in Minority Entrepreneurs (TIME) Program, offering instruction, resources, workshops, and mentorships to startups and minority-owned businesses. It’s a role previously held by Dan Nash, who is now pursuing his entrepreneurial endeavors.
The Chamber said, “Courtney’s passion for educating and empowering founders will help ensure that business thrives and our community grows.”
