ORIGINAL STORY (August 22): The Columbus Police Department (CPD) is actively searching for a 15-year-old female student who went missing on Monday, August 18. She is believed to be a runaway.
Gracie Marie Ogle, a student at Columbus East High School, disappeared before the last class period on Monday afternoon. Gracie is 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighs 115 pounds, has brown eyes, and black hair with pink stripes in front.
She was last seen carrying a blue and white Vera Bradley backpack. Her parents are offering a $500 reward for any information that leads to her whereabouts.
UPDATE (August 23 at 8:30 p.m.): The reward is up to $1,050 for information about Gracie Ogle’s whereabouts
UPDATE (August 23 at 10:30 p.m.): The reward has increased again to $2,500. There will be a gathering at Lincoln Park on Sunday, August 24, at 4 p.m., to go door to door and pass out flyers if anyone wants to help.
UPDATE: (August 26 at 11:20 a.m.): CPD has assigned a detective to this case and has followed up on several leads over the past week, but has not been able to locate her yet. Gracie, who is 15, was reported missing by a family member on August 18th. Since she was reported missing, officers and detectives have been following up on several leads and possible sightings of Gracie around Columbus, but she hasn’t been found yet. Through our investigation, we have not found any indicators that Gracie is in immediate danger.
Gracie was last seen wearing a white shirt, black shorts, and white shoes. She’s approximately five feet four inches tall, weighing 115 pounds. She has black hair with pink stripes.
